I used small bits of a variety of red and gray fabrics to create the top of the trivet and a vibrant solid red for the back. Each one is bound in beautiful red.
Each hot pad measures 9" square and has a strip of cotton twill sewn onto the back for hanging. The middle layer (batting) is a layer of cotton plus a layer of Insul-Bright ®, which is heat and cold reflective, but not heat-proof. NOT FOR USE IN THE MICROWAVE.
These make a great budget-friendly gift or get them for yourself to spice up your kitchen decor.
